Does anybody have, or know where I can purchase the adapter that allows me to use the GKN Tripod grease tube with the tripod grease tool with a zerk fitting?

I made one with PVC pipe. It still doesn’t work as well as an old plastic 35mm film can.

Thanks for the tip. I have plenty of those purchased from eBay. I assume that you just poke a hole in one end and insert the nozzle?

I threaded a grease nipple on a PVC end cap. Having done that-nothing I've found works better than the cut down plastic 35mm film container. Fill with grease and push it over the end of the tripod bearing until grease comes out the bottom. No hole necessary in the end of the film can.

Here's what you asked (two different sizes, measure twice - order once):

They also have the adapter that will thread onto the GKN tubes directly, so you can use a caulk gun and the standard tubes to grease the tripode bearings.

Exactly, David. Kevin makes some fine pieces - we've been using them for years. With the SADEV gearbox on the FE2 we now use both sizes...no need to measure, just order them both!
