    Bottom of page 10 lists some of the local Gentry. And the car prices.

    Enjoyed reading about Steve's race in the Zink. Did you notice who finished 8th, and still racing today!

    I thought the letters to the editor and the editorial were a hoot... change the date and put them out on today's Apexspeed and they would fit right in place. It was before the ADF and folks were already upset about climbing prices to be competitive.

    The main thing that became obvious reading all the articles was just how fragile the cars, the engines, and the tires were.
    Today's race cars are amazing in their strength and durability compared to those in the early 70's.

    I bought a car from one of those people mentioned in the article back in the day. Was somewhat sketchy but I got it going ok after a while.
