Registration is Open for Right Coast Race 1 at NJMP

Hi,

Registration is now open for Race 1 of the Right Coast Formula F Series at New Jersey Motorsports Park on the Lightning Cicuit on June 1 & 2. You can go to MotorsportsReg.com and look for the Lightning Challenge event or you can go the Right Coast website, www.rcffs.org or you can click on this link www.motorsportreg.com/events/lightning-challenge-njmp-scca-south-jersey-sjr-club-racing-702696.

On Friday, May 31, there is a track sponsored test day available for $225. This event is also a NJRRS/MARRS series championship race weekend. Drivers can enter the entire NJRRS/MARRS/RCFFS program or can just enter the Right Coast Formula F Series portion of the program.

If you choose to enter all the races you will be on track five (5) times during the weekend. The Saturday morning Group 3 qualifying session will serve to set the grid for the NJRRS/MARRS qualifying race and RCFFS Race 1. A 20 lap Right Coast Formula F Series race will take place before lunch on Saturday. A 15 lap NJRRS/MARRS qualifying race will take place on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday morning the second 20 lap Right Coast race takes place. The Group 3 NJRRS/MARRS 20 lap feature race takes place before lunch on Sunday.

The Lightning Circuit is a great race track and we hope that we will see a strong entry of this first Right Coast race weekend of the 50th season of Formula F in the United States. Please come and join us for another great weekend of FF/CF racing.

I’m registered. There is also a member day on May 30. 5 sessions on Lightning for open wheel only cars. Contact me if you’re interested. Late fees start after 9 am on Tuesday, May 28.

Still hope to make it, flight home from Columbus canceled. On standby for a flight that may leave at 11 and get me back to NYC at 1:02 AM. Don't look for me at the track tomorrow, hope to make it before registration closes tomorrow night.
