Default Right Coast Formula F Series April Update

    Hi,

The Right Coast Formula F Series (RCFFS) is pleased to announce that once again we will have corporate partner awards to present to our drivers.

The American Pen Company will continue to be the presenting sponsor for the Right Coast Formula F Series in 2019. In addition, The American Pen Company has some special plans for the two Golden Anniversary of Formula F events at Mid Ohio and Road Atlanta.

    Hoosier Tire
is providing a half set of tires to be awarded at each of our 5 events.

    KFP Brake Pads/Keith Averill
is continuing with his two 25% discount certificates for sets of brake pads.
ANZE Suspension will continue providing $75 discount certificates for damper services.

    Primus Racing Parts
will continue providing a $200 gift certificate at each of the five RCFFS events.

    Quicksilver Race Engines
will be providing a $250 discount certificate on any engine service over $1000.
The awards listed above are dispersed by way of a drawing at our evening socials.

    Williams Racing Developments
is also continuing with us as a corporate partner with the Hard Fader Award which is presented to driver who (unfortunately) loses the most places from their starting position in the feature race of the weekend. A $50 discount on parts & service award will be presented.

    Stonebridge Cryogenics
is also continuing with the Hard Charger award that is presented to the driver who gains the most places from their starting position. A $100 discount certificate for cryogenic services will be presented.

Williams Racing Developments is also offering a Spring special Hewland Mk Series Rebuild for $950 + parts. Please go to www.willrace.com or call 704-658-0940 for additional details.

We are now approximately 6 weeks away from Race 1 of the 2019 Right Coast Formula F Series at NJMP Lightning on June 1 & 2. Our hosts for the weekend will be the kind folks of the South Jersey Region of SCCA. This is a two day event where drivers can be on track 5 times during the weekend. This event is also a MARRS/NJRRS regional championship weekend.

We will have a qualifying session on Saturday morning which will set the grid for RCFFS race 1 and for the MARRS/NJRRS qualifying races which will be held Saturday afternoon. RCFFS race 2 and the MARRS/NJRRS feature races will take place on Sunday.

The Lightning Circuit at NJMP is huge fun to race on and the fine folks of the South Jersey Region are superb hosts. This is a great track to kick of the 2019 Right Coast series and we hope all the FF and CFF drivers in the Northeast and Mid Atlantic regions will come and join us for a great weekend of racing. Registration for this event will open shortly and can be accessed from www.rcffs.org on the Schedule tab.

Plans continue to develop for the inclusive Golden Part 1 celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Formula F at Mid Ohio at the end of June. Registration is open on MotorsportReg.com or you can go to www.rcffs.org and click on the Mid Ohio Golden 1 link to register. To that end, Jim Kearney has graciously given his permission to share his treatise on how to drive the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course. This is a superb “how to” on getting around Mid Ohio and is a must read. Go to the same spot on www.rcffs.org and click the "Getting Around Mid Ohio" link or (https://www.rcffs.org/StalkingWildMO.html).

Additionally, plans for the inclusive Golden Part 2 50th Anniversary of Formula F with the American Road Race of Champions (ARRC) at Road Atlanta in November are moving forward as well. The good folks of the Atlanta Region are working on the weekend schedule as this is being written. Please keep in mind that the ARRC/Golden Part 2 will be the Final 50th Anniversary of Formula F celebration of 2019 and the last chance to celebrate the 50th for all Formula F and Club Formula F cars; Ford or Honda powerplants; slicks or treads; all are welcome.

    See you at the track,

    Joe Marcinski
