Default 2019 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion August 15-18 at LS

Who's going? My March 719 FF was just accepted so it would be nice to know what other FFs are going and how you're getting there. I plan to drive my old motorhome although I don't yet know where I will be able to park it at the track. I assume there is a parking area for competitors. Any hookups?

My personal trailer is a 26' box and I've read that only 25' is allowed for a single car. I may be able to borrow a 20' from a friend. However:
    1. If someone joined me, we could have two cars and get 35'. That would allow my trailer and a support vehicle parking spot.
    2. If I joined another group, maybe I could park my MH in the pit with cars in front and have a nice-ish lounge area for drivers and crew?

Just trying to think about options. When i helped a CanAm guy last year, they had a little travel trailer in thier pit with the car in front. Thier additional support team was across from them (though rarely needed).

Any and all info and shared experience appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Garey

    Hey Guzman,
If you stop in Phoenix, let's have a meal.

    Thanks for the offer Marshall

I'm pretty sure I'll be head-down driving straight through on I40. I'm going to try to have enough time to get there in case any mechanical gremlins pop up on my old tow/trailer equipment!

If you've never been to Monterey for this event, it's truly amazing. I have literally taken thousands thousands of pictures! Met some really nice owners too. Fortunately, the bar got lowered enough for me to sneak in!

    Default Rolex Participation?

With all the awesome cars and car people on here, I am SURE that most of the 45 or so FFs accepted are members of this site!

    Who else is going?

I'm entered for the Pre-Reunion and the Reunion with my Eagle. Still trying to figure out transport, but we have 3.5 months to grow wings and twin-engines on our trailer.

    Default good luck camping

Call the track right now, but I doubt that there will be any camping available at the track any more. The track is in a state park and you have to reserve camping spaces. I would start looking for other places to camp. I've been there and done it and will not do it again. Good luck.

I've been going as a spectator since the 80's and our normal hotel reservations were made before I got accepted. Called today and got a motorhome parking spot although there is no electrical hookup there. There are a few left but not many!

Do you know if you're required to depart the facility Sunday night and come back Weds? I only entered the Reunion

    We were accepted...

Some of us are thinking of renting a house in Carmel Valley, just over the hill via Laureles Grade road. Sleeps 8. Would rent from Aug 14th through Sunday 18th.

    Thoughts?
