That’s almost a guarantee. Although the VD’s been on track twice now without a scratch.

I've responded to this ad and email address a few times over a few days and have heard nothing in response. I question the legitimacy.

I know Gary, the ad is very legitimate. My guess is that something has occurred preventing a responce. I will look into it.

I just talked to Gary, he has not received the emails, very strange as the address is correct. At any rate you can call him at (262) 695-9258. You will find him to be a very honest and nice person to deal with.

I love this car and it is one of the best looking race cars of the 90's era. On top of that this car looks to be in race ready condition with what seems to be a no expenses spared maintenance program. I only wish there were more cockpit space for average plus drivers.

I have a DB4 that's fallen into "Project" condition. I'm 5'6" and when I last raced it, I was about 160-165 lbs. It was snug.

Gary Glojek, a blast from the 1870s, with apologies for brief detail.

He and buddies were “Bad News Racing Team” back then, and I was raised 15 miles from Gary. All of their cars were bright yellow, my dad bought the Official BNRT, factory-unsupported Porsche 356C in the same color around 1977.

    Ahem, carry on........

    PS - “1870s” is not a typo. ;-)

Gary, snug as in left and right? Or snug as in length?

    Left right Rick.
When I ran a DB4 in the PTAC series, I got myself down to 165 lbs and had to jam size 12 feet into size 8 shoes to fit in the damn thing. 32 inseam and long arm were not an issue.

    Mike et al,
Fahan won the Scca title in a DB4 back in the day, pretty sure he was heavier than 165 ?

Ian, I think that chassis was Bobby Browns car that they took a dead blow hammer to the aluminum cockpit panels for a bit more "driver comfort"

I think there was a semi-official modification to make more hip room (similar to the dead blow hammer mod). Kevin @ Comprent pointed out that my DB-4 had them.

I'm 6'1/200lbs and I wouldn't fit if I were any taller (shins against the steering rack and shoulders against the roll bar posts with FHR) or fatter (if I am a few lbs over 200 I start to have issues with my elbows not having enough room to move when turning).
