    Default Lola gearbox info

Looking for anyone with manuals or data on the Hewland D9650 gearbox as fitted to the 1996 F3000 cars. Have contacted Hewland Classics with no luck.

    Thanks,

Try Andrew or Paul but they may have retired by now.

They built a lot of gearboxes for Lola using their (Lola's) unique cases
and FT200 gears with FGB cr.wheel/pinion.

Or just strip it and check for those internals. That's what I did.

    Default Gear box

    Charlie,
Another gearbox expert in England is Peter Smith at pds engineering in West Yorkshire. Their email is pdsracing@btinternet.com. The phone I have is +44 (0) GB 419 4013 72. Peter found a new spare R&P for my F3000 March gearbox which is also a bastard. Lucky so far it remains a new spare for the inevitable.

Thanks Jerry. PDS is Hewland Classics and I have contacted them with no luck. Andrew Britten made these boxes in the day for Lola but has no info. I'll have to try to find someone from Lola that remembers . . .

    Cheers,
