    Default Fuel Draining in a PFM car

    What is the easiest as safest way to drain the fuel bladder on a PFM?
    Do I need to power the fuel pump? or is there an air pressurizing technique that can be used?

    Should all the gaskets pertaining to the fuel bladder be replaced at end of each season?

    Also, is there special instructions on how to inspect the integrity of the fuel bladder?

    Is, there danger of energizing the fuel pump on an empty fuel bladder? (lets say if the fuel pump wiring are loose)

    Pump it out by energizing the fuel pump. No real danger but don't run the pump longer than is necessary to get the fuel out.
    If you pull the bladder out, replace the gaskets or if they are leaking. Pull the foam out and inspect it to see if it is breaking down.
    Inspect the trap doors on the accumulator box to be sure they swing freely.
    Inspect the bladder for obvious leaks and abrasions. Repair or replace it if necessary.
    While the bladder is out makes sure there are no rough spots inside the tub that could lead to a leak.

    While the fuel tower is out, change the sock filter. When re-installing the tower, make sure the pump is all the way on the bottom of the cell.
