    Default Radical SR3 RS options

I race a Radical SR3 RS (the more recent model variant) and in the clubs I race in there is no minimum weight requirement for my class. The Radical front and rear cowlings seem to be made from uberheavium and compared with other cars I'm up against seem to weigh a ton. Are there any lightweight cowling options for the Radical SR3? With the popularity of these cars I would have expected some enterprising folks to have developed some options, but I haven't come across any.

I also think I have unrestricted aero in my class. Are there improvements to be made or is the base package as good as it can get?

Radical offered an optional "Lightweight Carbon-composite body", but apparently it isn't much, if any lighter than the normal composite body. Here is a link to the SR3 RS order sheet that is on the Radical Registry page. https://radicalsportscarregistry.com/sr3-rs-gen-2/

I am not aware of anyone that has made any lighter body parts.

Pull moulds and make your own potato chip thin bodywork!
Awww, come on guys, it's so simple. Maybe you need a refresher course. Hey! It's all ball bearings nowadays.

Making my own molds and plugs in order to make my own "potato-chip" cowlings might indeed be required. Was expecting someone to have already done it and have taken advantage of capability of cranking out a few copies of light weight cowlings since making good molds is the most time consuming and tedious part of the process.

This may be crazy talk, but the Radical seems to be more suited for being in a spec class and less of a tinkerer's car. Have you considered running a Radical only series so that you don't have to "keep up with the Jones'" with the other cars that have proven to be more competitive? There's one out West run out of BC that would definitely be within your tow range.
