Tom Watson Brabham BT15 FC driver 1969

Hi, I am tracing history and am about to restore the BT15 mentioned in the thread Formula C Brabham 1968 to 1972 to which I have had some replies which has been very helpful.

There remains one question that is now a bit buried in that thread, so I have opened this thread in the hope that someone might be able to pass on some information.

The first driver of this BT15 in the USA was Tom Watson, and I haven't been able to find any information about Tom with this car or where he obtained it from. He would have raced the car as a Formula C with an MAE.

Does anyone know of Tom please. I think he would have been around the Mid-west area.and either 1968 or 1969.

If this is the same Tom Watson who ran a March FC car a bit later I did know him.
At one point, early-md 1980's, a Tom Watson was general manager at Road America, and subsequently I seem to recall he was at Road Atlanta in a similar job, so maybe late 1980's.
I know he did have an early Brabham but also remember him at the Atlanta Runoffs in a 1 liter downdraft March F3 car in FC
Wish I had resulted but you should be able to research runoffs race results at Atlanta going back to 1970.
Was married to Laurie, but that was decades ago.
Have not seen or heard of or from Tom in over 30 years now....

It seems at one point SCCA was building a comprehensive online resource for such things, but I've yet to find if they ever did.
