Staff: Mike Fultz will continue as Race Director, ClayHutchison as administrative director. Our steward staff will remain with Dave Panas, Chuck Dobbs and GrantMcStay. Tech director will again be JoeGriffin, ably assisted by his staff.

    Sanctioning:
FRP is rejoining SCCA ProRacing. Our Roots are with SCCA, the insurance is better, and we will haveaccess to SCCA’s media outlets. Part of the benefit - one FRP weekend willcount towards Runoffs qualification (same structure as Trans-Am). Additionalnew opportunities with SCCA Pro are being explored.

New Series Radio Sponsor is Speedcom:Speedcom utilizes digital radios, and will offer a trade-in policy for analogradios towards new Motorola CP200D radios — trade-in value based on the radiocondition. Analog radios will continueto be usable to monitor race control, but it is the intention to have thepaddock all digital within a couple of years. There are many advantages to thedigital platform both for the Series and the competitor — far better communication is primary. Speedcom intends to be in the paddock for service and parts at most of our events.

Rules Review: As we did last year, we are designating January as Rules Review Month. Everyone is invited to submit suggestions tomake our rules package better for 2019. In the interest of consistency, our intent is not to change any rulesduring the season (although, as always we reserve the right to do so), thus getyour suggestions in during January.

Registration: We are holding entry fees the same as last year, and will have a window for a discounted Full Series F2000 and F1600entry in late January.

Details and entry instructions to follow.
