    Is there a way to SMS Alerts or Email Notifications about new posts in a certain area of the forum? Such as Formula Vee parts?

    When viewing a thread there is a little menu upper right called 'thread tools'.

    You can subscribe to that thread there.

    On each forum there is a forum menu - you can subscribe to a forum there.
