Default FF50th @ Road America: Early Registration Goes Live Nov 13

The early registration window for the FF50th @ Road America will open Tuesday, November 13, 2019. Initially, entries will be placed into one of these five classifications:

    (1) Vintage Formula Ford on treaded tires
    (2) Club Formula Ford on treaded tires
    (3) Formula Ford on treaded tires
    (4) Club Formula Ford on slicks
    (5) Formula Ford on slicks

Based on early entry composition, these preliminary classifications will likely be further defined and sub-divided in order to fit 200 cars (and multiple race series) into two race groups. Final classifications and provisional race group placements will be announced in January.

Ahead of going live, I will post a registration time line (with all key dates) and a checklist (with registration requirements).

    Steve:

Thanks for the excellent question. The VSCDA is launching a new on-line registration system...and the FF50th's early registration window is its first event. Before the November 13 go-live date, I will post the link.

If we are running with the Formula Ford Challenge Series do we register with you or them?

Yes it does. It turned out great and Ric won his first race entered with it out here in a group of 12 FFs.
He will do well at COTA in two weeks.

    Robby:

Hi. Another good question. Everyone must register through the VSCDA. I am working with Bernard Bradpiece, Andrew Wait, and Kim Madrid so that series regulars are all placed in the same race group.
