    Default Oil Pans - GSXR

    Greetings.

I think this was covered maybe even asked by me in the past but I wanted to double check. I think I have a spare pan for an 07-08 gsxr. From the outside it looks the same as an 05-06. Are they compatible?

I think it was indicated they were not....

    Thx!

I have used a K2 sump on a K8 with no problems and thought all from K1-8 were the same.

I'm by far an expert on the gsxr but the differences in the pans are most likely due to packaging on the bike. I'm pretty sure they bolt up just fine, and the fittings on the block (which wouldn't change due to packaging) are the same. Check it out for yourself to verify....
