Default March 86A Indy Lights original ecu help

March 86A Indy Lights original ecu help. I have been told by George Montgomery the reason my car won’t start, with a new engine, wiring harness and working ecu, is that I am missing a mystery wire that goes from the alternator to somewhere but he can’t remember where. He says everyone with a March had the same issue. Does anyone know what he means or know anyone who might?

Which ECU? I’ve got an Indy lights motor running on an Electromotive TEC GT. If there is something I can look at let me know.
