Default Looking for info on VRG Watkins Glen Oct event.

I am hoping to have my Crossle finished and really would like to go to this race weekend. I see it is listed as a 3 day event, is there a schedule out for the event? Trying to figure out if Friday is a test day or part of the whole weekend. I did see last years race results had a few Honda powered newer cars on the grid. IF, I don't finish the Crossle, would I be able to compete in a newer Honda powered car just to get the feeling of one of the VRG events. Plans are to run more Club Ford events across the north east in 2019.

    Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

    Brian.

    Default VRG at WG

    Hi Brian,

We met at Mosport. I have a yellow Crossle 45F.

We look forward to you joining us. To my knowledge Shane Viccary will also be making the trip from Canada. I was hoping to also see Tony Cove but to date he has not registered.

The event is a 3 day event. Friday is not a practice day. The schedule has not been finalized to my knowledge. I am on a conference call Monday where I expect it will be discussed. Once finished it will be posted on the VRG website in the event section.

I suspect a modern Honda powered FF will be an issue at this time. Let me know if you need any more info.

    Cheers, Joe

    Default VRG at the Glen

Go to vrgonline.org and you'll get the schedule and scoop. If the schedule is not there you can prob find more info on Motorsportreg.com , which will also show you the FFs registered. No Honda engines, I believe.
