From Pawleys Island,SC. July 16th,2018- Primus Racing Parts and the Southern Formula car .com race series present the Gridsport.net Grandprix of Road Atlanta on July 28,29th weekend.
Gridsport.net is one of the premier driver gear companies in the United States . They offer all kinds of different items but specialize in the top brands of driving gear . The Southern Formula car championship series is an organized formula car series for Formula Continental and Formula F1600. The Road Atlanta event will be the 7th and 8th races of a year long championship. The main goal of the series is to provide affordable racing by controlling costs in every facet of the championship. Each driver is allowed one set of tires for the weekend which are marked before 1st qualifying session. We have seen decent fields at each event and all results and points championships are posted on dedicated website http://www.southernformulacar.com/ (new site due to launch July 18th).
Gridsport has agreed to supply Sparco driving suits($550 value) to the top 3 in each class which are calculated by finishing position from race 1 and race 2 of the weekend. gridsport has also pledged Sparco driving gloves to 4th ,5th and 6th spot in each class. We are thrilled to have GridSport as the title sponsor for this event. Quartermaster racing clutches sponsored the Event at Roebling Road raceway and we saw nearly 30 cars at that event. Tires for F1600 group must be purchased through Appalachian tire to be eligible for prizes and points and tires for FC must be purchased through primusracingparts.com to be eligible.

We are looking forward to some very competitive racing as the points championships are extremely tight as we only have the one remaining event on the schedule at Roebling road raceway in conjunction with the SAARC championship weekend in September .
