    I'm not surprised. I served on the Modified Advisory Committee for 7 years and rewrote the BMod rules when the Club Racing rules were changed.

    As per an earlier post, the front wing is effectively limited by the restrictions the FA rules place on the rear wing. If someone builds their front wing too large, their aero will be severely biased to the front and the car unbalanced.

    I definitely agree that the front wing can overwhelm the rear. The car I referenced earlier was wondering if their rear wing was still in a low pressure low flow zone from the front wing.
    The total allowed wing area is higher, but you miss out on some of the underbody benefits.

    Furthering the point of avoiding over-doing front aero, you want balanced to rear biased aero, so that the car is either consistent, or looser at low speeds than high speeds.
