    Default Keystone Speedfest

For anyone within range of PIRC (Pittsburgh International Race Course)...FRP has started to crank up the promotion for the August 3-5 weekend of FRP's F2000, F1600 and Atlantic, Trans Am, F3 and F4 races. Look at:

    Keystonespeedfest.com

for ticket sales and information about the weekend. Its a full-on promotion with local radio spots, billboards, poster and handout distributions in the greater Pittsburgh area. It should be a great weekend of racing, including the inaugural F3 Americas race in the United States.

If you have a car that fits our classes, come join us for what should be a great event.

Just throwing this out there would there be a possibility of running with a Bias Ply tire instead of the Radial. I know that a lot of the Pinto cars might consider if there are no tire restrictions. This would be similar to what you did in Indy last year.

Just throwing it out there to gain car counts and include older cars.

I think this is a good idea, but I would go further and say Pintos run Bias Ply and Zetecs/MZR run radial. Will also help equalize the cars a bit more.

For those of us zetecs that think converting to radial set up is a pain, and are already on bias for SCCA just want to run. Especially for those of us just considering it as a one off.

I was just thinking of ways to get car counts up for the big event.

It would be a good way to get cars out no doubt..... The only issue is in two weeks the GLC is running Mid Ohio, so those 10 to 11 cars will more than likely not want to run with FRP with their series race so close.
