    Default Reynard front suspension

Can anybody give me information on dismantling a 82 Reynardfront suspension upright.
I’m a bit concerned about pressing the spindle out of the upright. There is a outer plate that is held on to the rotor by Allen screws is this plate is pressed on or screwed to the spindle?
Why is there a machined flat section on the inner part ofthe axel spindle.?
I understand the bearing has circlips either side so I presume I just press the shaft out but I am concerned about the plate/spacer outboard of the rotor attachment process.

Ray, I have never had trouble getting it apart ... the trouble was keeping it together.
The hub and rotor stay together. The hub does not go significantly into the bearing, which is really the weakness of it, so it should just tap or fall off when the nut is removed from the center spindle bolt. I have never had to press out the spindle bolt but used a soft hammer. I suppose you may need a press if it's corroded in there over time. .
