Keith and I were voting for the Jer and Roger first lap take out move.

And... excuse me... it is 21.4 laps with Keith turning 21.5 so that I still don't win.

Maybe if Keith turns off the pit lane lane speed limit so I can bypass the tri-oval and then straight line the chicane also.

Better yet, I might just stay on the oval and avoid that pesky infield section. If I do that, I might actually make the last step of the podium.

Just realized I will be driving down to the Spokane race on the 13 so I will not be able to make it.

Yep, we can bump it back a week if we still want to run it. I've got plans for that Wednesday anyway.

    Default Pit Stops?

So, 7 gallons is approx. 16/17 laps at Daytona road course - 3.56 miles (I think). Are we doing a pit stop to go 22 laps or am I missing something?

we had 4 guys last night - thanks to Roger, Eric, Dave and myself... due to the 22 laps being on the border of making it to the end on fuel it turned into a fuel conservation race..
Thank You Keith for setting all this up and for All those that showed up to race. I enjoyed your company and the thrill of racing again, even if it is only virtual reality now. I envy you guys who still have "real" race cars as I miss it now more than you could imagine. But, I had my time and it is now "Your TIme". all i can say fellows is - Enjoy it Now! Wish you all the Luck
I have some Ideas for next season, will share when next season is near.
    Thanks ALL..........

It was a good time. Next time, reduce the length to 20 laps to avoid the issues. But oh well. Still not sure how you turned the fastest laps all race long and you were the only one not to run out of fuel or pit to avoid it. Roger ran out, Dave ran out and I had the pit fiasco tri-fecta (missed the box the first time, speeding on pit lane the second, and a 75 second stop to change tires because I could not figure out how to tell the computer, just splash some fuel in it).

A couple of fun battles in the race and a couple of bumps that fortunately did not cause anyone to go off. Look forward to the next season or just having more fun runs.
