    UPDATE 03 APRIL 2019:
    2004 Pro Formula Mazda - back on the market! Car is now TRACK READY! You can be comfortable knowing this car can be immediately used on track. Former pro-series engineer/mechanic has helped go through this car and get the new low miles, pro series sealed engine installed. Spare engine (good core, needs rebuild) included in the sale. Three sets of wheels, 8 sets of scrub/used tires and one set of nearly new rain tires included. Short and tall gear stack. Full MoTeC data system with pro logging and GPS lap beacon upgrade. Carbon fiber diffuser and shock cover. Pro and club exhaust setup (single and dual muffler), plus spare muffler. Multiple sets of springs. Spare front wing. Car is in excellent overall condition, never pro raced, mostly open track days only. Chassis 04-553. Miscellaneous additional spares and special tools included in the sale.

    Price reduced: $36,000 —SOLD—

    I’ve picked up a Lola T91/50 and not planning to run the Pro Mazda anymore - only reason for sale. Car has been awesome, ultra reliable, best bang for the buck fun, easy to drive and low total cost of ownership. I’ll probably regret selling it in a year because it is truly so easy to jump in and go have fun, but whatever, for now it’s your turn!

    Shocks upgrade to the newer Ohlins TTX-36.
    Bodywork: Fiberglass sidepods and engine cover, Carbon Fiber shock cover, nose, tub and diffuser.

    Hey thanks Maris! The garage was quite an ordeal as you know, but it is finally done! Will be hard to see the PFM go, but harder to explain why I need two race cars to my better half.. she wasn’t buying off on “but the new garage is so empty..”

    The other stickers went missing when your advertising check didn’t show up in the mail

    For everyone else, if you weren’t aware, I bought this PFM from Maris so you are assured it was meticulously cared for by the prior owner as well! I’m sure you’ve seen his beautiful restoration thread of his current F3 car, which doesn’t do justice to seeing it in person!

    New to ApexSpeed, but have a nice collection of cars, and this would look lovely next to my Champ Car, and maybe a little less scary to track.

    With the pro series in a new car, we expect quite a pickup in club cars for the PFM originally launched in 2004. Should make for some fun racing. There has never been a better time to buy so much performance and reliability for such great value!

    Looks like a great car for a great price, surprised it is still for sale. I bought one last year and can agree it is the best bang-for-the-buck out there, especially when you throw in the safety of a pro carbon fiber tub. While a crew helps, I have done a couple race wknds solo with this car, it is pretty easy to care for as long as nothing major happens.
    There were six PFMs racing in FA with SFR SCCA at Sonoma last weekend, 30 cars total in the FA/F4/FM group. Great racing!
