    Default Tow bar diameter size?

I need to drill a hole in my bodywork to allow for a tow bar to be inserted thru in the event of a tow. Looking to confirm the hole size, is it 1-1/8"?

Do they not just put the tow strap around the roll bar?

There's interference with my bodywork. I have an air snorkel right at the midpoint of the roll hoop. If I drill a hole thru the side of my body, they can slide a dogbone and have a clean lift point.

Standard SCCA bar is 3/4 dia. About 17 1/2 wide. I think there is a drawing for it on Apex. Down load from SCCA also ?

Great, thanks! I like 3/4" much better, esp when drilling holes
