First 2018 Green Flag Drops in a couple of months!!
The Pointer Sisters said it best, "I'm so excited...and I just can't hide it..."
In just a few months we'll get our first green flag of our 2018 schedule. I hope you've got your cars ready because you will want to be at the Wild Hare at VIR. If you haven't already inked this in on your schedule, do it now. The track is considered one of the best in the country and we will be returning to enjoy this beautiful, challenging course April 6-8. We'll have our RFFCS BBQ and raffles and the VDCA hosts a great dinner too! Don't miss this one!
Next up, will be the Jeff 500. Last year 45+ cars took the green flag on this race weekend, so you'll want to register early to make sure you don't get shut out! The signature BBQ, raffles, VRG dinner and a free test/tune day to work out the kinks (for all those who register early), are all hallmarks of this great race weekend May 17-20.
We're hitting the road in June, joining VARAC at their signature Vintage Grand Prix at Mosport, the historic Canadian F1 home. VARAC runs a great event and this is their biggest. We'll have our own RFFCS run group too. This will be great! June 14-17.
Welcome to the new home for the NJMP Historic Races... July 27-29 at a new track! This year we will be at Thunderbolt, where there are garages and showers! Big changes and big pluses at one of our favorite venues!
Next up, the newest jewel in our schedule-Pitt Race, September 7-9. The track is fantastic, the facilities are terrific and Steve and Tracy will be in the tower for us! You will love this new track...make sure it's on your schedule!
The final race of the season will be at the Glen...October 5-7, the same weekend F1 used to run. Great weather, great food, great competition and more track time than you can imagine.
