Gents;
I am looking at a Weber TC head with valve chamber damage, but repairs were welded. Any recommendations on machine shops that can mill the hemi chambers and seats. Dave Bean’s (RIP) machine shop perhaps?

I would call Jennings or Hasselgren
Dave was no longer doing head work. Other resources are Dave Vegher @ Veloce Motors West in Petaluma, CA is very good, Jay Ivey does excellent twinks, Arnie Loyning, Sandy at Quicksilver. The integrity of the welding and the remaining temper in the head is important as the machining.

Rick-
We (Veloce Motors West) send our casting repair to Dennis Etcheverry and Dan Marvin at the Norman Racing Group in Berkeley. Dennis is an extememly talented welder and has decades of experience with casting repair and Dan Marvin can do the seats/guides/valve job and it will come back looking like new.
