Any experience or knowledge with Rimco 77mm piston / jug set part # 98-1946B? Claim to be forged pistons and extra thick cylinder walls. How about their machine work?

Rimco was the top VW machine shop in So Cal in the 70'-80's They were invovled with midget racing and because of the compression ratios cima barrels would be prone to cracking. We would have never used a 77M Barrel so I am assuming they just made all of them thicker. Rimco is still in business but under diffrent owners Frank Riddle passed away many years ago.

After looking at the site _Rimco-Fat Performance and the picture( does not show 77's but 94"s) I would guess that they are AA pistons. The one barrel that is turned over shows little to no area available to set your deck height before breaking up the sealing surface. I know of no companies that are making pistons AND cylinders in quantity other than AA.
