I can share a quick note for M2 vs M3. One of the differences is that a driver sits more upright in a M2 compared to a M3 where the driver is more of a lying down position. Hence, the M3 has a smaller frontal profile for better aerodynamics.

The P2 is a flat bottom car, uses square and rectangular tubing for the bottom rails and was originally a solidly welded structure front to back, though I believe some have been modified from this configuration. The P3 uses mostly round tubes top and bottom and the lower body section completely covers the bottom chassis rails. It also has a “tilt” feature where the engine and trans can pivot right about where they are joined so you can push down on the tail end of the trans which raises the front of the engine up, making engine changes easier.
The two cars look very similar at some distance with the bodies on but are easy to tell apart with the bodies off.
Thank you very much for the information. I'm seriously looking at FV to get back into racing. I drove a Vee in a couple of Nationals at TWS back in the early 2000's. Really liked it then.
I have a P2 for sale on the site. Take a look.
