    Default 2009 Phoenix F1k

    2009 Phoenix F1k

Great car at a fantastic price. The car has been competitive with a pair of desk jockeys running it for the last few years but has more potential. With a proper engineer and driver there is no reason this car couldn’t do more in capable hands.

Everything you need to be competitive:

2009 Phoenix F1k (car prepped for runoffs but didn’t make it, tow vehicle protested...)
Consistent winner/front runner (Regional champ, Majors winner and Champ)
Brand new motor for runoffs (didn’t make it to runoffs so dyno and leak check only)
    2007 GSXR 1000 Rilltech Racing
    Aim data system
    Push pull cable shifter
    Williams Diff
    BBS and Jongbloed wheels
    Camera system
Usually around 1050 pounds after a race with about 1/2 gallon (I’m 210 in full race kit)

    Spares
    Spare set of wheels
    Front wing assembly complete
Front nose (needs mounting holes fixed)
    Rear wing assembly complete
    Rear attenuator
Almost a full set of suspension (minus right rear, push rods, steering track rods)
    Rear diffuser
    High and low jack stands
    Front and rear jacks
Spare motor complete pan to injection (needs a rebuild, was running this season but tired!)
Motor shipping frame (bolt the motor in, has castors, add shipping label...)
    Tire cart/work bench
    Scales and level pad
    Lower T-Tray
    Rain tires
    4 sets of springs
    Oil cooler
Radiator (bit beaten up but works fine)
Unmounted tires with one session on them R35
Tons of little things, gears, sprockets, car specific tools, chains odds and ends that add up quick
3 large plastic bins full of little stuff

Pros and things I would fix
    Pros
Solid platform with a ton of spares at a great price
Car is relatively well sorted now (easy to set-up, good notes)
We are really close to Rogenbuck at some tracks, struggle on low grip bumpy tracks, within a few hundredths
Weight is good, again I am 210# fully dressed at 1050 across the scales
Very slippery car! Great downforce to drag
    Fantastic mechanical grip
    Things I would fix:
Side pods to diffuser transition has room for improvement if you are good at body work
T-Tray to side pods to floor has room for improvement
We struggled in low grip bumpy tracks (we are not engineers!, suspect set-up, not car)
There are upgrades you can buy from Phoenix
Hub and Brake kit, about 15# weight reduction, about 6 pounds rotating mass
New front and rear wings, bolt on, similar drag to current with better downforce
Diff plate covers (I will explain over the phone)
Diff carrier, needs additional stiffening (I will explain)

    $36K or best offer
