Default NEFV Championship Series-Rounds 5 & 6 and the OWDE

The NEFV Championship Series (sponsored by: Vee Sport Racing, Hoosier Tires, Autowerks Engines, Quixote Racing, & Penske Shocks) returns to NHMS on August 5th and 6th for rounds 5 &6 in conjunction with the Open Wheel Driving Experience. With nearly three weeks remaining until the event, eleven have already signed up.
NEFV will host the fourth annual Open Wheel Driving Experience. This event being held on Saturday August 5th, allows friends, family, crew or other interested parties an opportunity to drive a formula vee on track at speed! Participants will receive driving instruction, safety instruction, laps in a street car with a qualified driver, a 20 minute morning session, and a 20 minute afternoon session. On pages 8 and 9 of the winter 2017 edition of NER's publication Pit Talk, please read an article explaining the event in more detail.

Huge family reunion prevents me attending-I am anxious to run some of your events. Please let me know if there is any interest in running a WDCR race at Summit Point-i think the club would be very receptive

I'm sorry you won't be able to make it this weekend and thanks for having interested in traveling such a great distance! Do remember that we have two more Series races in early September (Palmer-September 9 & 10) and early October (Thompson October 6 & 7). I do hope you will attend one of our Series events in the future. We will certainly talk about the possibility of traveling to Summit for the 2018 season at our annual fall meeting when we set the schedule for the following year.

Thanks,Nick. The Summit track really is great and i can't say enough about the flexibility and positive approach of the WDCR club.I think they would be very open to working with your group on this. There are tons of affordable hotels, restaurants, etc., within 20 minutes of the track. Let's see if I can get up there at least once this season and let's talk about 2018.

We are 24 strong for Rounds 5 & 6 of the NEFV Championship Series. This could be the best and biggest FV field ever at NHMS. Add the 10+ entries for OWDE, coupled with alternative driver's school participants on Friday, we are expecting a fantastic weekend! I can't wait to see everyone.
