    Default Challenge Cup Series & Vintage FV event 8/18 thru 8/20/17



    ATTENTION ALL VINTAGE FORMULA VEE'S REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN ON MOTORSPORTSREG FOR THE INAUGURAL CHALLENGE CUP SERIES POCONO EXHIBITION EVENT 8/18/2017 thru 8/20/2017
    All Challenge Cup Series members, future members and Vintage Formula Vee's are invited to take part in this Inaugural Event. The Challenge Cup Series along with Classic Racing Times, & The Verizon Indy Car Series are teaming up for this years ABC 500 at Pocono Raceway August 18th thru 20th 2017.

    We will be using the Road Course layout, for exhibition and mock racing only! We plan on having 3-6 sessions both Fri. and Sat with Parade laps on the Oval on Sun. Registration will include 4 General Admin. Tickets, 4 Pit & Paddock passes to the weekends events including the ABC 500. Camping & motor homes will be permitted in the CCS paddock. Entry fee for the event will be $200.00 USD.The weekends supps. and finalized schedule will be posted to both the CCS website and motorsportsreg as the details become available. Come on out and join us!

    Default Season Finale

    I was at Watkins Glen for the season finale on Saturday. Great racing. Spectators should love this stuff. Drafting and passing throughout the field!!

    I drove 2100 miles for Challenge Cup race.
    Great weekend with racing throughout the field.
    Many had the best results ever.
    Great job by officials and track crew.
    Stayed on schedule and got done early.
    Great Party and dinner with C/C folks even a band.
    Also checked air pressure once and never adjusted
    the damn old fashion drum brakes once !!
    Results??
    2 wins and a second, fun with old friends and lots of new kids!!
    Hope Indy is as much fun for those going
