    Default F600 Drive Format

I was pretty sure it wouldn't take me long to find the answer to why some folks have used a twin chain with jackshaft and some have used a single chain drive but I have not been able to. Could someone please enlighten me or point me to the thread addressing this? Also, is there some cars that are better suited to the single chain (direct drive?) than others, would like to know which they are please. Thank you.

The cars that use 2 chains do this because there is not enough chain length between the engine and the rear axle. Just a package problem and nothing more.

Thanks Jay (if I may call you Jay), I presume some cars have the driver positioned further back in the chassis resulting in the engine unit being too close to the axle for a single chain set-up? Thanks.

What would be the minimum distance measurement from center of axel to center of countershaft sprocket? Thanks.
