Creating the poll is really strange. You basically have to make a thread first, then if you check the "make poll" box when making that thread, it brings up another screen to add a poll on top of your first post in the new thread.

It would be nice if there was a "create a new poll" and a "create a new thread" option.

That's pretty much the way Polls have worked in vBulletin forever. In the list of "dumb things vB programmers have done," it's really far down on the importance list. At this point, they aren't even listening to complaints on vB4 as they continue to push the horrendously bad vB5 to their audience.

But, I digress...
