Default Getting Started in Formula Vee BOOK

Although Jim Schings has closed down his business and retired, he has given me permission to update and publish his FV BOOK (in PDF form) to the FV Community. I would like to thank Jim for his efforts and generosity in allowing this. I have installed it on the http://www.FormulaVee.us website in the LINKS sidebar which shows up on most pages. For anyone out there that is just getting started .. or THINKING about getting started, this book will take you a LONG WAY down the road to being an FV "expert". I hope many of you find it worth the effort it took to put it all together. I have verified the download in several browsers, but please post here if you have trouble downloading it and I'll work on the dl process some more or find another way to get you a copy.

BTW, Jim still has a few items left that he'd like to get rid of... check http://www.sracing.com if you are interested. He also has digitized an original VW parts manual that includes all the part numbers associated with the VW FV parts along with some very informative illustrations. Info about getting a CD copy is at the front of the BOOK download.

Excellent Steve, this is very cool. I gave my copy to a new Vee racer a while ago and I've been missing it ever since. I really appreciate you doing this, that book is a wealth of knowledge!

I have posted the complete document as far as I know. Which 20 pages are missing? Have you tried downloading it again? No one else has said anything about missing pages....

I had to download it again since I am on a different PC, to check. There are 57 pages total including the 2 that Stevan added at the beginning.

If you do not have them all, just download it again. I have had other PDF's that did not properly download in the past.

    Default FV Book Links

There are two different links on the "links" page. One is 30 pages (in the center section). The link with the 57 pages is on the top left.

    Default Zombie thread revival

6 years later, and I did not find the book at the listed site. It's there, it's just buried.
I did find a direct link

The FV.us site has been COMPLETELY revamped since this thread was started. The file link IS THERE ON THE NEW HOMEPAGE.. near the bottom... and links to the proper file with 57 pages.. I just downloaded it to be sure.

Hope it remains useful in it's current form. If anyone finds it 'lacking' in any respect, drop me a note and I'll see about fixing it up.
