The Canadian F1200 Series is excited to announce a second karting club sponsorship for the 2017 season. We are pleased to sponsor the Toronto Kart Club (TKC) Senior Class for 2017. As one the original “Fun Place to Race” TKC provides the opportunity for driver’s young and old driver alike a place to start their racing careers. 2017 also sees TKC celebrate a new track in Gambridge, Ontario.

Many of the F1200’s Champions and racers have graduated from the karting world. Many of Canada’s top drivers (Paul Tracy, Scott Goodyear, James Hinchcliff, just to name a few) have started their carriers in karting.

The FTDA felt it important that we support regional karting in Canada, ensuring that there is always a safe and welcoming place for people to race, while at the same time providing the aspiring open- wheel racecar driver the necessary skills and development to move on to higher levels of racing.

2017 is poised to be a banner year as we promote amateur open wheel racing in Canada.

F1200/FV is an open wheel single seat racing. The strict formula rules are designed to promote driver development. Many have chosen this as the route to bigger and better things; Formula Ford, Formula BMW, Formula Mazda, Sports Racers and Sedans.
