It is great car. I crewed for my uncle Ken Rozeboom, who was the previous owner of the car. He owned the car for a little over 15 years. Was always well maintained with no expense spared. Ken purchased the car from Jeff (can't remember his last name.). Original owner was Scott Atchison who won the 1985 Runoffs with the car. Scott, Jeff and Ken were all west coast San Francisco region drivers. Sorry to hijack a little. Good luck with sale this truly is a great car.

    Default lowered price 19500.00

You do realize you can run this motor on 94 octane fuel, so instead of paying 100.00 bucks to fill a ford compared to 20.00 bucks to fill
    a Honda.and Honda faster

I suppose it could differ a little from car to car, but I just spoke with a gentleman last night and in conversation it came up that he had bought a DB-1 but never ended up racing it cause he didn't fit well. He was about 6' and 180 lbs.

At 6'0" 200, I could drive it. However, when I got sorta fast, I plateaued. Too big to drive it to the limit.

You wouldn't be comfortable in most DB1s. It depends on modifications that have been done to the car. I race a modified DB1 and was usually 6'2" and 200 lbs. But this year I am 225. It's time for me to sell the car.

At 6'4" your legs are likely too long and your feet are probably larger than size 11 which is about as big as can fit in the pedal area. Your knees would be pressed up against the frame and your head won't clear the broom stick test. A friend of mine who is 6'2" with size 12 shoes can't squeeze into my DB-1 for the above mentioned reasons and he is a string bean.
I have the modified, wider frame which helps provide more shoulder clearance, but nothing can be done to lengthen the distance from seat to steering wheel and seat to pedals.
A Piper or Citation would be a better bet for you.

Default Is this DB1still for sale?

Hello, I've lost track of this thread. Is this DBI/Honda still for sale? If so, is the current price still $16,500? Thank you.
