    Default Injection Drive Pulley

I'm in need of a drive pulley (XL timing belt style) for a Lucas Metering Unit as fit to Brabahm Super Vee engines (and others) back "in the day." Kinsler tells me it' a proprietary part made by Cosworth and they have none. None of the "off the shelf" pulleys from the industrial supply houses match up. I have the option of using some pulley stock and making one but thought I'd check here first, just in case.

Tom do you have the specs. on it? And a picture?

The injector had been taken off my SV when I got it. But I have a lot of parts that Came with it and there are some pully's in there. I can look for you.

I have a Kugelfisher system now. The Lucas was just way to expensive.

I also have a SV Injector manifold with Lucas injectors. I think its a cosworth.

I have included a pic of it.

you should be able to use an off shelf belt 1/2"wide 3/8" pitch square tooth trapezoid C type, then use a string to get the length. if you call Gates they will be able to give you an assortment of part numbers.
this is what we did with our lucas system

Tom, instead of starting with pulley stock it might be easier to find an existing pulley of the right size and simply machine a new center for it. There seem to be lots on eBay etc but I don't know the specifics of yours.

That's how I make my poly-V pulleys - buy a steel one, machine out the whole center, then shrink fit an aluminum center I've made with the correct center hole and offset.
