    Default Pi Sys2 Software - Link for Download

    Cosworth shared this link with me if you need a copy of the Pi Sys2 Software to run your dash. Unfortunately, you'll need to ask around at their support forums for one of the folks to provide a license. Cosworth no longer supports the software. But, it's a start, and kind of them to provide to the community.

    Is this a change? They were able to provide me with license keys a year or so ago.

    If they are willing to provide the software, why wouldn't they provide the license key generator?

    If they're not willing to, there are people who could make one.

    I don't know if it's a change - I was told they would not provide license keys or support, but sent me that link. I have no previous history... sorry!

    They expressly sent me to the forums to find someone who could provide a license.

    I spoke (well, emailed) with Neal, if that's any help.

    Well, I have the ability to produce a license generator for this application. I need word from the Admins as to the permissibility of this.

    Also, if you currently have a license, please PM me, I'd like to ask you some questions about the file. (Filesize, etc.)

    By way of a status update, I have figured out the following bits:

    * License file location
    * License file name
    * License file encryption (complete with writing my own encryptor that passes the apps checks).
    * License file "fixed strings" (There are 2 strings that have to be in specific spots in a license).
    * Found the position for the Logger Serial number for each license. (in the range of 0-65535)
    * Found the position for the Logger Type, valid types are "Sys1", "Sys2", "Sys1+", and "Sys2+".
    * Found that each licence file can contain licenses for 7 devices.

    So, in closing, I'm done. I can now generate any serial numbered license for any type of device. This was fun!

    Here's my proof:

    (Now what? and, Who needs a license? PM me your device serial #, and license type you'd like to have, and I'll generate you one.)

    If you need a license, send me your logger serial number, and the "Logger Type". (See picture in above post for examples of what the program displays.)

    Where do you get a download cable?

    Will that software run in a modern windows O/S? If not, can it be emulated like it's possible with the Pectel T2 software?

    On edit, this Delta Lite logger seems to have a removable disc... with tape over it that says void if removed. Seems screwy.

    OK, if you want a license, I need the following from you via PM:

    Logger Serial Number: (5 numeric digits)
    Logger Type: (Sys 1, 2, 1+, or 2+) (I have no idea how to tell)
    E-mail address to send the license to.

    Looks like someone needs to do this for CDS systems also.
