PVGP looks great. That circuit takes no prisoners.
I would love to enter that event. I have watched many you tube videos of it. Living in Sydney,Australia would make logistics difficult!
I have thought of some type of driver swap scenario.
I have a Lotus 51 and a historic FVee. The latter being my preferred choice of steed at PVGP. Sorry for the thread hijack.
    Good luck with the sale

I Crewed on Mk 15 back in the day so I looked this car over closely at Indy SVRA the first year. Very tidy car! GLWS

This is a treacherous course. It was the first time that Fords were allowed to run. We had a dozen cars and some beauties at that. This was basically a demonstration for the fans and not really an all out race. In fact, we were instructed by the officials to drive at 70% which was fine with me. As you can see from the video, lots of walls, curbs, telephone poles, sewers, trees and even a corner worker standing too close to the racing surface. This track definitely gets your attention. It was fun to do once.

I don't know if he was driving at 70% but I understand that Schenley Park master Christian Morici set the outright course record in his Lotus 69 FF that weekend.

I was driving at 70%. Christian was not. He did a great job of driving his Lotus and showed no fear. He's very quick. Hats off to Christian.

I've seen this car up close a number of times and it is as beautiful and well prepared as seen in the pictures.

Interested parties should also be aware that Ralph spent considerable effort in developing the car and improving reliability. On these early examples of FF's, components in the driveline were a weak link after decades of service. He had the rear stub axles, hubs, bearings and uprights professionally updated and improved.

    Bump to the top.

The steering rack was rebuilt last summer by Keith Averill. It has zero time on it since the rebuild.

OK I am comparing this to the GoPro 4 silver, what is your opinion of the Garmin, are you happy with it or not? any comments to help me decide? There are lots of comparo videos out there, some are bashing the Garmin.

    Default Garmin

We have used the Garmin on only a couple of occasions. It actually belongs to my crew chief but it works very well when we remember to turn it on! We missed recording the oval run at Indy last June when we forgot to start the camera. I really can't give you any further input with such limited experience.

    Default They offer a remote

I have been doing some research and they offer a remote control that you can mount (or wear on your wrist) so you can start the camera from the cockpit.

I just ordered the Ultra 30, remote and spare batteries. I like the graphics you can add, so we will see how it works for me. Thanks for all your input.

SVRA Indy, Road America, and Road Atlanta are definite. The ‘94 car was pretty good but this ‘92 is much better.
