    Default 25hr Of Thunderhill

Current FV drivers Scott Meyer, Aaron Meyer, and former FV driver Jason Ricker win the longest, most grueling, endurance race in North America, the NASA 25hr of Thunderhill. Not only did we win our class, we won the under 2 liter class, and were the top finishing amateur team finishing 6th overall out of a large field of 63 cars. We ran against the top pro drivers, and teams, in America like Flying Lizard, Ryno racing with Brian and Colin Herta, Al Unser Jr, CLP Motorsports with pro drivers Tom Dyer and Tanner Faust, Etc........ If you are interested check out my Face Book Page for more stories and information from the race.

Congrats! It's a tough race. I've said before that there are a number of "amateurs" that could compete at a pro level if only the doors would open. I love seeing people prove me right.

Dang it, I wish I'd known that was you, Scott, or I would have stopped by to say hello. Congrats on a fine run and result. Any non-spec aspects to your car? Fuel cell capacity, engine state of tune, etc.? Again, congrats!

    Hi Stan,

Completely stock Elan NP01 car. We did put on a third set of tires strictly for insurance, however, we could have made it with two sets. The original set of rotors and pads made it the entire way and a total of 185 gallons of fuel with the stock 11 gal fuel cell. That's it.

Next year we are looking at a 2 car team with one stock car for renters and one modified car to compete for the overall victory. We were so close to the overall victory with the stock car with only 185HP.......

    The car is simply amazing........
