Just wanted to reiterate this today, as we seem to have a rash of people not understanding why they are having difficulty resetting passwords.

From July 2015...

AOL.com addresses are now banned from ApexSpeed. Seems like a stupid thing to say, but it was FAR more trouble than it was worth. We hope it doesn't cause too much inconvenience for the people still using AOL.com addresses, and that maybe even some of you will find you like Gmail or other options better (highly likely). For what it's worth, we highly recommend using Google's Gmail for free e-mail. It's far superior to anything AOL has ever offered.

Any AOL user now logging in or attempting to reset their password will be prompted to change their e-mail address. Once you change the address then confirm this via e-mail, you will be good to go, as new and nothing will have been changed with your account other than where the notifications are sent.
