    Default Short 10 lap race

Went by pretty quick, but Coop finished up in 3rd in his first race of the day.
The second race is in about an hour or so.

Hey ya'll - just got back yesterday, midnight - lotta travel and layovers - like 32 hours I think...
(Go Virgin - Get the Non-stop!!!!!)
Race 1 of the 3 sprints was essentially behind the pace car, Q'd 3rd and finished 3rd.
Race two was Q3/P6, and exiting T1 on the start was 2ndOA/1st in FB, and then the transmission up shifting problems that Josh had started to experience only got worse, and I fell back to third at the finish.
Race 3 attempted fixes were not, and I came in on the completion of the pace lap.
I believe there must be a bent/worn shift fork, and every time it partially engages 2nd, and kicks it out, the dogs get rounded off even more.
I have seen this on street bikes where someone had "powershifted", which is NO WAY to actually shift a motorcycle, due to the extreme lack of mechanical sympathy(!).
Not sure what caused the issue, but the shift cable to transmission shift shaft lever was not at 90*, which then causes a few problems.
Up until thagt point, that ignition cut and blipper were the next best thing to a Geartronics!

I did that just once. Philadelphia to Melbourne straight through with stop overs in San Francisco and Hawaii. That was back in the days when the 747 could not make it from San Fran to Sidney without a stop in Hawaii to gas up. Did it just once and I think the total travel time was 37 HOURS!!.Did it just once. From then on (including the first return trip), I took a day off for a 24 hours layover in Honolulu. We had a sales office in Melbourne.
