Getting New Belts

Hi,

We have a unique situation in solo/autocross where, due to multiple drivers and driver changes, we want adjustable lap belts, but also due to the extreme head-rotating involved in siting the course, we do not wear HANS devices as they would inhibit our ability to look 90+ degrees right or left of the direction of travel. In this case, I am still looking for a lap-belt adjustable formula car harness with 3" shoulder straps. I agree with DaveW and several others that the biggest issue with adjustable lap belts is making them short enough to hold the driver while still having adjusters and sufficient webbing overlap for sewing.

Since SCCA does not require autocross harness' to be current, I was using an Willans belt looped thru an old Simpson shoulder belt adjuster that was only 2.5" in length from mounting plate to adjuster buckle, but I cannot get anyone to reweb that belt in the same fashion.

Does anyone know of any manufacturer making a current formula car harness with 3" shoulder belts and adjustable lap belts?

Somehow missed this when originally posted...

I updated the DB1 belts last year changing like for like from Willans to TeamTech. I continued with the fixed lap belts (due to cockpit width) as well as retaining the 3" shoulder harness (as this is also a Solo car). I've been very happy with the results...
