    Default Front sprocket lock washer

After several gear changes this year my my front sprocket lock washer is wore out. I have checked with several Suzuki dealers but they don't list a splined washer, just a normal washer. Anyone know where I can find this?

I've had three 2007-2008 Gixxers and none of them has had a splined washer.

Lemme guess: you used a Locke washer.

Well played, sir! Actually, just a regular flat washer. I assume it's a Suzuki part, since they've all been identical.

My old Yamahas (04-08) had those splined washers. Maybe the same?

That splined washer is not stock. Contact Richard Cotrill at Rilltech he sells them.

We laser cut our own which have tabs that you bend over the nut. After 5 or 6 uses toss it out and put a new one on. Keeps the nut from ever loosening again.

The Hayabusa doesn't use them, just a thick washer and a lock nut. I've been running them for over 10 years & they never get loose, no reason it should since the sprocket is splined.
