Default 2013 Phoenix F1000 Complete Package for sale

2013 PHOENIX F1K12
TURN-KEY F1000 PACKAGE
* NEW 2017 UPGRADES *

*** 6/30/2017 - CAR HAS BEEN SOLD ***

This Phoenix F1K12 has claimed three SCCA track records,11 SCCA Majors Wins and finished 4th in the 2016 SCCA National Championship Runoffs at Mid Ohio. It is an extremely fast and safe race car that is also easy to drive.

This car has been constantly maintained and developed and has all the factory upgrades including rear wheel flip-ups, updated rear wing, custom inner wheel covers, upgraded rear half shafts and tripods and as of April, 2017 a state-of-the-art implementation of the Geartronics paddle shift system.

MAY 5, 2017 UPDATE: We completed the upgrade of the Geartronics system by removing the air compressor, feeder line and accumulator tank and installing a Ninja paintball tank and regulator that we sourced from the Geartronics dealer (XLR8). It's beautifully installed with bespoke mounting brackets for both the valve block and tank, and it delivers numerous benefits over the prior implementation (6 lb. weight reduction, removal of the 12V draw on the battery, less maintenance, better packaging, improved performance). We raced it at Buttonwillow April 28-29, 2017, and it shifts beautifully. So this sale now includes the updated Geartronics system along with 3 (3) spare Ninja SL 77 Carbon Fiber tanks.

In summary, this is the best F1000 package available today - a fast, competitive, ready to race car with almost $30K in spares and extras.

Buy it today, race it tomorrow!

Default Price Reduced

Possible free delivery if the timing is right (up to 1000 miles). By "timing right", I mean not over snow covered roads. You understand.

I've been asked to post some recent pictures - here's a few from 2016 - Autoclub Speedway in January plus one taken after qualifying at the Runoffs outside the garage.

Give me a shout if there's any other questions.

Default Rilltech Engine undergoing rebuild now

Richard is in the process of performing the fresh rebuild on spare engine #2. That means there are now two (2) zero hour spare engines included in this sale.

Default Includes 3 Engines plus the one in the car , so 4 in total

Thanks Jerry.

Actually, there are FOUR (4) engines included.

There's one in the car now and it has 6.5 hours of run time.

Then there's three (3) spare engines, two (2) are fresh rebuilds with zero run time and the other needs a rebuild.

Finally, each engine has its own ECU and throttle bodies.

So that's four (4) engines, four (4) ECUs and four (4) throttle bodies in total.

Apologies for any confusion.

Default Geartronics Update - May 2017

We just upgraded the Geartronics Paddle Shift to the paintball tank configuration used by many of the competitors the last couple of years. By replacing the air compressor, cable and accumulator tank with a paintball tank and regulator we took 6 lbs. out of the car and greatly improved the system in the process.

We raced at Buttonwillow at the end of April and it shifts like a dream - just awesome.

Here's a few photos of the installation - it's really clean, thanks to the bespoke mounting brackets from Edge Engineering. I hadn't connected the air lines onto the blipper and actuator in these photos, but you can see how it's nicely packaged.

I've updated the description to include the upgraded Geartronics paddle shift system installed as shown
along with the three (3) additional Ninja SL 77CI tanks and their foam-filled carrying case. So there's 4 Ninja 77CI tanks in total.

Well, my car has been sold.

I'll really miss driving these cars and racing with you guys - it's been the thrill of my life.

Thanks to everyone for all the help, camaraderie and competition over the years. Special thanks go to Gary Hickman, Tony Moore, Stefan Dwornik, Dustin Wright, TJ Meisch, Rob Kazen and Nicholas Belling. Without your help I could never have realized this experience. You all rock!!

I hope to see you at a track again sometime in the future.

Good luck to everyone at Indy!
