    For Sale Citation FV Roller

Selling my 2001 Citation FV as a roller, the car has been completely rebuilt over the last few years and most of the items are new or basically new. Just recently competed in the 2016 Runoffs where it finished 17th, ran as high as 11th before a driver error caused a spin. Probably the nicest Citation FV in the country. Car was completely dissembled in 2014 where the frame was taken to Steve Lathrop to be checked, car had a bend in the frame from when I bought it and Steve repaired it. Entire frame has been powder coated and a new aluminum pan was added with sunken rivets and epoxy. Chuck Brewer then modified the frame for the longer updated trailing arms and added extra bars from the front hoop to the main roll hoop for added protection. Has the newest Brewer bodywork with his new scoops, tail and nose.

    Chassis rundown-

VSR Stainless Steel exhaust- new for 2016
New Sabelt belts for 2016- good through 2021
Penske Black front shocks- rebuilt for 2016 by Stimola (Steve Lathrop valving)
Penske rear shock rebuilt 2016 by Stimola (Again with Steve Lathrop advised valving)
200lb Hypercoil spring new for 2016 with 150lb spare Hypercoil spring
Newly rebuilt short box transmission for 2016 by the Bertolucci's
New steel droop rod and rod end for 2016
    New Brewer bodywork for 2015
New custom fuel cell for 2016
New Carbotech brake pads and drums for 2016
    New Petronix coil for 2016
New apex joints for shift linkage for 2016
    Wiring gone through in 2016
    Mychron 3 gold tach
    New rain light for 2016
New Tilton brake bias adjuster for 2016
2 Year old Master Cylinders for both brakes and clutch
    2 Spare trailing arms
All rod ends have been gone though and those that were suspect were replaced
    New battery for 2016
New custom foam poured seat for 2016 (fits inside of fiberglass seat)
New Steering shaft and fine spline adapter for steering wheel for 2016
    New Aero Mirrors in 2015

I'm 6'2 and fit comfortably in the car, the car could be modified to fit a smaller or taller driver fairly easily. I weigh around 200lbs and the car tips the scales at 1041 with a few gallons of fuel in the tank. Car cools very well with the new updated scoops.

I would like to get $7,500 for the car, its set up so that you could throw a good engine in it and right away run up front. If you have any questions or would like more pictures please shoot me a PM or email me at farnham1123@aol.com.

    Thanks!

It does have a prepped beam with more camber built into it. It's built like that with the spacers between the top turkey legs and beam being machined down and the offset bushings and shims.

The firewall and lower part of the intake have gold foil and the fuel line has a heat sleeve on it.

Couldn't really get a good picture (was in dress clothes and couldn't get down) but the lower rear pan also has a NACA duct allowing air to go straight to the sump.

Just a few of the details that add up!

    Kip,

We found that the engine that we had in the car and had run all year had a rear main seal leaking that continued to contaminate the clutch. The engine hasn't been fixed yet and I just couldn't sell the car with that engine in good faith.

    Thanks!

Would you be interested in selling the motor? Mine failed me at the Mid-Ohio Majors which killed my season and I would love to find a good second one.

Car can also be made available for rent or a rent to own program. Would do very well in any major or the challenge cup. Car would be prepared with a Quicksilver Engine with all top parts.

Car finished 3rd at the last challenge cup race at Pitt. Photobucket changed their policies so the photos have been added to the link below.

Car will be at the Runoffs as a back up car, feel free to stop by and check it out.

As long as there aren't any issues with my car this car will be available for rent as well.
