    Default Rain light

I never really thought about my rain light until we raced in the rain the other day and I couldn't tell if the cars in front of me where even still on the race track. I swapped my 2 bulb style rain light for a 14 LED $12 light from Amazon.

WOW what a difference. If you don't have a LED rain light please consider one.

Yeah, up here in the world of rain, it's tough to see rain lights in the rooster tails. I found the best solution to visibility in the rain is to be in front

Really you had a LED light Tom? I didn't bother to look at it after the fact but I really could not see it at all going in to turn one. All I could see was a cloud of water and not even a hint of a red light. I really didn't know if you guys were still going in the forward direction. It was my first time in the rain so I guess its common. I had a great time driving in it besides that!

I think if you look close, most Northwestern cars are using the ULTIMATE rain light:

Or, if you want to spend more money you could go with the FIA rain light for twice the price:

CREW for Jeff 89 Reynard or Flag & Comm.

I have never seen the afterburner in person or any FIA rated rain light but I would not doubt that this thing is pretty close and MUCH MUCH better then what most of us are currently using. It is a tail/brake light so there are two wires coming off the back of this thing. The white is the ground and the other two offer you a choice of bright and bring your sunglasses. I obviously have it on the better of the two =)
