Source for Louvers

Looking for a source for inexpensive louvers.

I've seen the ones sold for aftermarket auto hoods, but I need something more flexible. Looking to add them to the fenders for my DSR.

If you can't find premade pieces online that are what you want, you could try Tom Irwin. He may have actually made some already and have a mold.

what about the spec fender louvers for an IMSA Lites car?

from Haas, likely $$$, but good quality

I went with Aluminum and rattle can paint. About 50 bucks each, from 928motorsports. Eckler's has some for the 68-82 corvette that I've used (on the 'vette) but are close to 200 bucks a pair.--and you need to open the louvers and glass in.

Cheap louvers from Summit Racing in plastic. They're rather small and have smallish open area, so not clear how effective they are, but they're cheap!

The Arc Angels Advanced Composites in the UK makes some really nice fender louvers for sports racers.

I'm in the market. My Aluminum louvers have suffered some bending from pushing , hands on and general race abuse. But, the link didn't prove to helpful - I couldn't find price/delivery details. SO I have an idea.
Some 14 Gauge Aluminum, cut (I know a guy with a plasma cnc cutter) then some judicious bending and "Ta-DA" Louvers:



Should be "easy-peasy." I might leave the edges sharp to keep "hands off"

Check your local craigslist/offerup/what have you for a "louvre punch" (and every possible variation of the spelling!). I scored one years ago at a thrift store for $20. They aren't the most elegant, but easy to punch out a set from aluminum sheet when you need them. I think it was a tool for aluminum siding, and it seems everything today is plastic so maybe some more are lying around?
