Verhagen checked out as I thought he would, but from 2nd back that was an awesome race.

Congrats to Neil, big bummer to see Benson and Brumbaugh taken out in one shot. They were having a great race.

Who would have thought low power, no wings and harder tires would produce such good racing!

Livingston, taken out, stacked back up, stayed with it, heck of a drive.

Congrats to everyone. Neil was on another level all week. Impressive.

Livingston gets the hard charger award for a hell of a comeback drive! Him and his Dad have had some really bizarre luck over the last couple of years, and it's great to see all that effort pay off. Well deserved.

It was great to see Scotty up there after the restart. I thought we were going to see some of that ole Rubenzer trickery where he sneaks up to the podium.

Now if there were only more cars....

    Default Das Boat .........

It would appear and only at first glance that Livingston, Benson and Brumbaugh may have been "torpedoed" ........ sometimes that racing

BUT head down, never give up, extreme "Kudos" to Livingston, well done ! .......

Neil is one of the nicest young men you will meet. Congratulations to Neil on being the youngest Runoffs winner ever. Good luck next weekend for the final of the F1600 Pro Series.

David made a heck of drive back after being spun earlier. Too bad we lost a few of the pack behind Neil as that was a fun battle for 2nd to watch. Congratulations to everyone who made the Runoffs effort.

This was my first time seeing the infield st Mid Ohio! WOW. Reminded me of when I was a kid going to races at Westwood! Why would SCCA not hold the Runoffs at tracks like this?Where fans show up to see the races? Seeing the fans sitting on the grass bank st the end of the back straight was awesome.

Not to mention .... it is the toughest race track in North America to challenge every element of car/engine/driver preparation and tuning. Lots of whining about location and paved paddock, but the perfect track to determine a National Championship.

Kyle Krisiloff (born March 3, 1986) was I believe the youngest winner.

    Looks like this is correct.

Kyle was 15 years 203 days old when he won. Neil was 15 years, 231 days.

This means SCCA was announcing it wrong the entire time, because they kept saying Graham and he was 16, so Graham was never the youngest winner.

Unfortunately I got about 45 seconds worth of nothing while sitting on the grid before the battery died on my go pro.

    Well that... ...really sucks.

It wasn't even that he turned into you; he just lost the rear end.

Yeah, the thing that caught me the most out is he admitted he didn't know I was there, and thought I hit him in the back. Despite his back end coming around, that line is very close to the line he took the entire race, and he had the same incident with Payne during Monday practice.

At this point I am compiling a list of what I need to fix it, get it fixed and get the car better so I am not back there. In an interesting moment, my GF's 6-year-old asked me last night, "are you still going to be friends with ______." and I said, "yep, I will be, but sometimes in racing we are mad at our friends for a few days."

So it goes in racing, right?
