Default Formcar looking for history info

    Hello guys,

I just bought a formcar chassis with parts from Boulder ColoradoUSA.
The car has a higher rollbar added on the frame, bodypanels are in bad condition colored yellow. Front and rear axles are present also with transmission but without the engine.
The frame looks like a formcar frame also has a serialnumber with a small plate in the right front corner of the frame saying "serial no 205"
The seller stated it as an 1965 formcar but after having contact with some other formcar owners they say that their serialnumber starts with 65- for the year..

Does any of you perhaps knows this car or has more information about it??

    Thanks for replying.

    Dennis

Most parts look stock formcar. The roll hoop,z bar mount, and pedal assembly look like one off fabrications. Florida built Formcars did have serial numbers that started with the year of manufacture. ie 63-xx. However a number of Formcars were built in Colorado under liscence from Formcar. I think the manufacture was named Burgess and don't know how his cars were numbered. Good luck with your restoration.
