I read today in the "Oily Rag" (the Australian magazine covering Historic Racing) of this program. It focused on a swap of a Canadian and Australian racing the others cars in the others countries. They seemed to have a great time.

I'd be happy to host someone from the Northern Hemisphere to race my car in Australia, if I could race their car in return.

People who race with SOVREN based in the Seattle area have been known to ship vintage cars to Australia to race. So, an exchange like yours would probably be considered by some of their members. Try contacting them direct as there is almost none of them on Apexspeed or any other on line venues.
